The development is located on the corner of Birmingham Road and Clopton Road, in close proximity to Stratford Hospital, schools and the town centre.

Our lettings policy means that key workers, such as health and emergency services workers and teachers in the town, as well as local people, will be given preference to rent the one and two bedroom apartments.

Lettings priority strategy

We will seek to let the units at Fordham House to applicants in the following order of groups:

  1. Key Workers employed locally in the following jobs: teachers, health care workers, public service workers (including emergency services)
  2. Staff employed in local firms/tourist industry.
  3. Current Stratford residents who need new accommodation in the town.
  4. All other applicants.

As we expect demand to exceed supply this order of preference would usually be applied, but lettings where there is only a single applicant for the property will not need to be assessed on the above criteria.

A partnership between Stratford Town Trust, Orbit, ABD Developments LLP and Robothams architects will bring the scheme to market. Deeley Construction has been appointed as the design and build contractors.
